HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!. I”m starting 2012 with a couple of new year’s resolutions. One of them being : not going to the same restaurants and cafes over and over again. This is how I ended up at cafe Garb in Marunouchi instead of hanging out at the usual Joel Robuchon Boutique munching on some crepes.

I found cafe Garb to be quite pleasant. The funky and rather quirky interior is a nice change. Their playlist of soothingly cool lounge music was impeccable. The food was just alright. For lunch, you had a choice of pasta, salad or soup set which cost about 1000-1200 yen. I personally wouldn’t go back there to eat lunch but I would definitely go back for some coffee and their heavenly Angel Food Cake. Make sure you try this angelic cake from their desert menu.
